The theme for IDAF’25 is “Connecting.” In an era where digitization is transforming every aspect of life, the concept of connection is evolving in ways that challenge traditional understandings of relationships, communities, and existence. The evolving relationships between physical and virtual worlds are redefining human interactions while also questioning the philosophical and ontological foundations of existence.
IDAF’25 aims to deeply explore the complex connections of the contemporary world through themes such as City / Citizen, Sustainability / Ecology, Digital Twin / Digital Natives, Science, Non / Binary, Innovation / Creativity, and Architecture / Mimicry.
As IDAF’25 provides an opportunity to reconsider what it means to be human in the age of technology, it will offer a broad perspective on how technology shapes our interactions, from digital communication to virtual proximity, addressing connections in a decentralized world. We invite you to share your artistic vision and explore the philosophical and existential dimensions of these connections alongside fellow artists, curators, and thinkers at IDAF’25.
